The Anonymous Assembly

The DAO has no mind of its own.
It takes the mind of the token holders as its mind.

Maybe the DAO was just a way to make decisions
without having to look anyone in the eye.
Maybe the votes were counted in silence
because the silence was the point.

To the good proposal, it allocates funds.
To the bad proposal, it also gives a fair vote.
This is how true governance is attained.
