After the Exit

When users leave, check the mirror first.
When TVL bleeds, ask what you've been feeding it.
When the Discord grows quiet,
perhaps you've finally built something
that doesn't need constant validation.

But what about after the exit?
After the 100x?
After financial independence?

You wake up one day
and realize the protocol runs itself.
Your creation no longer needs its creator.
The money you made from DeFi
can't buy back the time you spent.

The loneliest moment isn't when you're building alone.
It's when you're rich
and realize you forgot
what you were building toward.

Maybe we called it "building the future"
because we couldn't build relationships.
