The Trustless Confession

The partial becomes complete;
the crooked, straight;
the empty, full;
the worn out, new.
Those who have little may gain,
those who have much are confused.

Maybe we built trustless systems
because we were the ones who couldn't be trusted.
Maybe we automated handshakes
because our own hands were shaking.

Therefore the sage embraces the one
and becomes the guide for the world.
She does not display herself,
people see the light;
does not assert herself,
people respect her.

That is why the ancients say, "Yield and overcome."
Be really whole,
and all things will come to you.
